BirdsInJuly was born in the Suburbs of Norcross, GA on February 2012. The band started as a two man band lead by Julio Sandoval. Julio (AKA July) created the band with his previous bandmate Ernesto Torres. Both Ex members of an all christian band, July and Ernesto started off by arpegio driven songs and covers of bands like Relient K and Dashboard Confessional. Ernesto then left the band to follow his own dreams.



The band took a turn when July's old classmate Nick Patma joined the band as lead guitarist. Nick and July drew attention from local venues and landed various gigs giving the band the begging of an expanding fan base. Juan Heredia (bass) , July's cousin, and Sergio Armenta (drums) then joined the band. 



The Band was then complete and started developing a more pop/punk/alternative sound to its music. The band then released its first single "Moonlight Serenade" on August 2012. They are currently working on their first EP Hopeless Romantics which is is expected to be released this 2013. Keep an eye for the Birds!
